ConKerr Cancer, a case for smiles

The Social Ministries Committee is still accepting 100% cotton or flannel material to make pillow cases for Children’s Hospital ConKerr Cancer.  The project is to make pillowcases out of fun prints for children that are being treated for cancer at the hospital. Volunteers make the pillowcases out of 100% cotton material. If you have material at home or come across some fun material on sale that you would like to donate, we need 1 yard to make 1 pillowcase.  You can drop off the material also in a box I the Friendship Room.

Watch for updates on a date that will be set to get a group together to make the pillowcases. Anyone can help; you don’t need to know how to sew.  Confirmation kids, this is a great opportunity to earn volunteer hours!
