Lutefisk Helpers Needed

Fall is in the air…a sure sign that it’s time for the annual Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner at Christ Lutheran Church! We expect about 1,400 members, friends and neighbors to come to enjoy this wonderful meal, which includes the area’s best-tasting lutefisk, homemade meatballs, the best potato lefse around, as well as rutabagas, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, cranberries and delicious pies.

Areas you can help:

Make Pies – 3 fruit (apple, cherry & blueberry) and 1 pumpkin – eight- or nine-inch pies in disposable pans.
Cash Donations for rutabagas, lefse, lutefisk
Prepare rutabagas – Thursday, October 21 at 8:00 am and Sunday, November 1 after early service
Prepare Meatballs – Wednesday, November 11 and Thursday, November 12 – 8:00 am
Accept Donated Pies – Friday, November 13 – 1:00 -7:00 pm
Prepare coleslaw – Friday, November 13 – 8:00 am
Set Up – Friday, November 13 – 1:00 pm
Pack Cold Food Items for Carryout Dinners – Saturday, November 14 – 8:00 am

Help:  There is a lot to do!  There are 3 ways to sign up to lend a hand:

1. Sign up form: Click on this Member Helper SignUpSheet 2026  and return it to the church office or drop it in the offering plate on Sunday.
2. Poster: There is also a sign-up poster in the Narthex.
3. Call: Give the office a call at (608) 846-4718.
