Commitment Sunday

Dear Friends of Christ Lutheran Church,

In the past I have witnessed, a first-time visitor lean over to the person sitting next to her and say “I’ve dreamed of a church like this.  Can I come back?”

Whether a first-time visitor or long-time community member, our church changes lives by answering God’s call to love our neighbor, children and creation.  Our congregation welcomes people who’ve felt estranged from God and the rest of Christianity.  We support each other through joys and times of loss or grief.  And together we serve people in our community.

The work within and beyond our church can only happen because of the generous financial and volunteer support of our members.

While there are many ways to support the congregation, our annual campaign provides an opportunity to think in a particular and prayerful way about the choices we make with our money in support of the church.

On September 20 the Congregation directed the Church Council to pursue a new building loan enabling the leadership to maintain and restore the building.  This will help maintain our house of worship in which we have done for more than the 175 years.

Please prayerfully consider renewing your commitment or starting a commitment for the coming year.

Commitment Sunday is on December 6, 2026 and we ask that you return the estimate of giving card (2027 Giving Plan) or by making a commitment online.
