Let’s Make Pillowcases

Join us on Saturday, October 10, 2026 to make pillowcases for Ryan’s Case for Smiles.

We will provide pillowcases to UW Children’s Hospital for distribution to children battling cancer. We will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a lunch served and work until about 3:00 or so.

You do not need to know how to sew to help. There will be cutting, pinning and ironing to do in addition to the sewing. Feel free to bring a friend!

Confirmation kids will get community service hours for helping.

If you want to donate fabric, choose 100% cotton with no sparkles and child-friendly fabrics, including holiday, Packer, Badger, Brewer.
The main pillowcase takes 3/4 yard fabric and the border fabric takes 1/3 yard. A money donation for fabric is always appreciated.

There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board outside the Friendship Room. Please sign up if you
will be attending so that we will know how much food we will need for lunch.
