Baptism and Wedding Information
Baptisms: Holy Baptism is God's sacrament of welcome, a washing of forgiveness
which gives new life in Jesus Christ.
Christ Lutheran pastors offer the sacrament of baptism to infants and adults.
Because baptism welcomes a person into the Family of God, it is celebrated
during Sunday morning worship services when the parish family gathers.
Please call the pastors to arrange a date and time for baptism. The pastors
are available to meet with you in person to make arrangements and share our
Church's understanding of this sacrament.
Weddings: Christ Lutheran Church hosts wedding for couples
because Christian marriage is honorable in the site of God. The pastors provide
premarital
meetings with engaged couples to assist them in planning this time of worship
and commitment. These pastoral services are arranged only in consultation with
the bride and groom and may be extended to non-member couples at the pastor's
discretion.
Generally, three to five meetings are required to prepare for this commitment.
Inquiries should be made to the pastors at the church
office well in advance of the desired wedding date.
Facilities
Christ Lutheran Church has a variety of facilities available for large and
small groups.
The facilities of Christ Lutheran are available for use by groups from the church,
members and their families and other groups from outside the congregation.
A Building Use Request should be submitted to the church office well in advance
of the dates of desired use. The church office
coordinates scheduling and will assist you
with your needs.
